Missing Woman Found Dead In Greenbelt
The body of an 81-year-old woman who went missing in South Austin last night has been found in the Greenbelt, according to the Austin Police Department. KUT News reported earlier today that APD were trying to find Leona Wagoner Owen.
She had last been seen Sunday on the 600 block of Carismatic Lane, near FM 1626 and South 1st Street. Police don’t suspect that she was murdered. Her family had reported her missing because she was suffering from what police would only describe as "medical issues."
