Primary Election Early Voting Totals

Early voting numbers are coming in for today’s party primary runoffs.

In the much-watched U.S. Senate Republican runoff between Ted Cruz and David Dewhurst, Cruz is currently edging out Dewhurst.

In the District 25 State Senate Republican primary, Donna Campbell is routing incumbent Jeff Wentworth in early voting.                

Another race affecting Central Texans is the Travis County Precinct 2 Constable Democratic primary. There, challenger Michael Cargill is trailing incumbent Adan Ballesteros, 497 votes (33.83%) to 972 (66.17%).
