The UT System Board of Regents is suing actor Ryan O'Neal over a portrait of actress - and his long-time partner- Farrah Fawcett created by artist Andy Warhol in 1979.
The Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin currently has an exhibit underway About Face: Portraiture as Subject running through September 4, 2011.
The Austin American-Statesman is reporting about the lawsuit on Saturday. Fawcett is a native Texan; she was born in Corpus Christi and attended the University of Texas at Austin in the 1960's. She is probably best known as one of "Charlie's Angels" on t-v in the 1970's.
