Watch Rick Perry’s First TV Campaign Ad
A student at St. John’s University in New York, Andy Kaczynski, posted on YouTube Rick Perry’s first ever televised political advertisement. (Update: Kaczynski told us he pulled the video's from this retrospective on the Governor's YouTube account.) The video shows the Texas Governor in cowboy garb on the ranch back when he was running for Agriculture Commissioner.
“Rick Perry is a born leader, and the only farmer/rancher on the ballot,” the narrator says. You can watch the video above.
And while you’re at it, check out this vintage Perry campaign ad, which portrays the now Presidential candidate as a “Texas Natural”.
